1. What is permanent makeup?
Permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing that enhances your natural features using ultra-fine needles and specialised pigments. Unlike traditional tattoos, the pigments fade gradually over time, giving you soft, natural-looking results.
2. Does permanent makeup hurt? Most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort rather than pain. I use high-quality numbing products to keep you as comfortable and relaxed as possible throughout the treatment.
3. How long does permanent makeup last?
Results vary depending on your skin type and lifestyle, but on average:
Lip Blush: 1.5–3 years
Hair Stroke/Powder Brows: 1–3 years
Eyelash Enhancer: 1–3 years
A colour-boost session is recommended to maintain freshness over time.
4. What is Lip Blush and what results can I expect?
Lip Blush enhances the natural shape and colour of your lips, giving a soft, tinted look. Like your lips but better! It can add definition, improve symmetry, and create a naturally flushed finish.
5. What are Hair Stroke Brows vs Powder Brows?
Hair Stroke Brows: Mimic natural hair with ultra-fine strokes. ideal for a soft, natural look. Powder Brows: Give a more filled-in, makeup-ready finish with a soft powder effect. During your consultation, we’ll discuss which style suits your features, lifestyle, and skin type best.
6. What is an Eyelash Enhancer?
The lash enhancer is a subtle tattoo placed along the lash line to create fuller, darker-looking lashes without a noticeable “liner look.” It’s perfect for clients who want natural definition.

7. What is a Korean Lash Lift? A Korean Lash Lift curls, lifts, and defines your natural lashes using gentle, high-quality solutions. The result is brighter, more open-looking eyes and longer-looking lashes without extensions.
8. What is 'Bespoke Brows'?
Bespoke Brows treatment is my signature brow treatment, fully tailored to your brow goals. This includes detailed brow mapping, tinting, waxing, threading, exfoliation, brow nourishing. It’s perfect for clients wanting beautifully shaped brows without permanent makeup.
BEFORE & AFTERCARE
9. Is there anything I need to do before my permanent make up appointment? I’ll send you full prep instructions before your treatment, but in general, avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours prior. Arrive with no makeup on the treatment area. Avoid tanning or sunburn before your appointment. Do not take asprin 24 hours before treatment . Following prep guidelines helps ensure the best healing and pigment retention.
10. What is the healing process like?
Healing is usually mild. You may experience slight redness, swelling, or dryness. Peeling can occur around days 3–7, depending on the treatment. You’ll receive full aftercare instructions, and I’m always available if you have any concerns during healing.
11. When will I need a touch-up?
A perfecting session is usually recommended 6–12 weeks after your initial permanent makeup treatment to refine shape and colour. After that, maintenance varies from 12 months to 3 years depending on lifestyle, skin type, and aftercare.

12. How do I know which treatment is right for me?

13. Am I suitable for permanent makeup?
Most clients are, but there are a few medical and skin conditions that may require extra care or make certain treatments unsuitable. I’ll go through everything during your consultation to ensure your treatment is safe and appropriate.

14. Can I come in just for a consultation?
Absolutely. I’d love to meet you, answer your questions, and help you choose the right treatment. There’s no pressure to book, I want you to feel comfortable and confident in your decision.
